paleo apple no cider donuts by kalejunkie



2 cups almond flour
2 tablespoons coconut flour
1/4 cup full fat coconut milk
1/4 cup applesauce
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 pasture raised organic eggs
2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons Primal Palate Apple Pie Spice (or 1 1/2 tb cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp ginger)

Warning! This is not the first or the last time you will be seeing my PALEO APPLE NO-CIDER DONUTS this season, I‘m pretty much obsessed with them and you are gonna be too! Ok— so to make these and pretty much every other baked donut recipe out there, I recommend purchasing a silicone donut pan off Amazon! they are non-toxic, inexpensive, and make donut making super easy because they literally pop right out of the pan when done. these donuts are gluten free, grain free, and super kid friendly. here’s the recipe for you guys!



Preheat oven to 350.
Spray the silicone donut pan with avocado or coconut oil spray and set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
Melt then coconut oil.
Add the melted coconut oil to another bowl, and add the rest of the wet ingredients.
Whisk to make sure everything is blended evenly.
Pour wet batter into the bowl with the dry ingredients, and stir until combined.
Gently scoop batter into each donut cavity, almost up to the fill line.
Use your fingers to gently even out the donuts.
Bake for 16-17 minutes.
Remove from oven and let sit for two-three minutes, then flip the donut pan upside down so that the donuts easily pop out.
Lightly spray coconut oil on top of each donut and sprinkle on some additional cinnamon and/or sugar.
Eat and enjoy!
